About The Event

In 2024, North Carolina will hold its Primary on March 5, 2024.  In-Person Early Voting will begin on February 15 and end on March 2.  The Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian Parties will be selecting their nominees to run in the General Election to be held on Nov. 5, 2024.

Registered voters affiliated with the Republican (REP) party will be given a Republican ballot of candidates.  Registered voters affiliated with the Democrat (DEM) party will be given a Democrat ballot of candidates.  And registered voters affiliated with the Libertarian (LIB) party will be given a Libertarian ballot of candidates.  Voters registered as Unaffiliated (UNA), may choose either a Republican, Democrat, or Libertarian ballot.  Again, each candidate that wins in each contest on their Party’s ballot will become the nominee who will appear on the ballot in the November General Election.

Locations:  Senior Resource Center in Waynesville, Canton Public Library, and Clyde Town Hall
